Edmonton Elks linebacker Nick Anderson, a Vicksburg native and former Vicksburg High star, had seven tackles and a forced fumble in the CFL team’s 47-22 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Aug. 17.

Anderson ranks second on the team with 58 tackles this season. He also has one quarterback sack and two forced fumbles.

Edmonton has won three consecutive games. It’ll play again Saturday at 6 p.m., on the road against the Montreal Alouettes. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
