Warren Central quarterback Nash Morgan threw a touchdown pass and ran for a 28-yard TD as the Vikings beat Northwest Rankin 21-14 in a preseason scrimmage on Friday.

Warren Central will play its regular-season opener on Aug. 30, at home vs. Clinton in the 62nd annual Red Carpet Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets to the Red Carpet Bowl are $10 and can be purchased through GoFan.co. In the other Red Carpet Bowl game, Vicksburg will host Holmes County Central at 7:30 p.m. at VHS’ Memorial Stadium.
