Mrs. Sybil Everette Davis Barnes, a Vicksburg resident, passed away at her home Wednesday, August 21. She was 96.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31, at Travelers Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. General Bryant Jr. officiating and Pastor Michael Williams as the Eulogist.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 30, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be held Tuesday, September 3, at the Kentucky Veterans’ Cemetery, Radcliff, Ky., under the direction of Hathaway & Clark Funeral Home, Louisville, KY.
