Volunteers needed for Downtown Vicksburg Clean Up Day on Sept. 9

Volunteers are needed for a clean up event in downtown Vicksburg ahead of an upcoming regional conference.

Downtown Vicksburg will be welcoming Main Street Program directors and staff from Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas for the Destination Downtown Conference happening September 11 to 13.

The clean up event will be held on Monday, September 9 from 9 until 11 a.m. Volunteers will meet at Washington Street Park, at the corner of Washington and Grove streets, at 9 a.m. to pick up assignments and gear before getting to work.
