A water pressure issue that caused problems citywide and closed schools in Tallulah Thursday has been repaired, city officials announced Friday morning.

Officials said the pressure in city tanks has stabilized and water inventory has increased; however, a boil water advisory remains in effect for City of Tallulah water customers.

“We continue under boil water advisory,” the city announced Friday morning via a Facebook post. “Water should be boiled at a rapid boil for two minutes before consumption.”
