Vicksburg Warren School District announces Friday school closures due to loss of power

The Vicksburg Warren School District announced Friday morning that due to the unexpected loss of power, Academy of Innovation, Warren Central Junior High and Vicksburg Junior High School will be closed Friday, August 30, 2024.
The news comes one day after Vicksburg High School was closed Thursday, August 29 due to unexpected power loss. Vicksburg High’s power was restored and the campus is operating on a normal schedule Friday, August 30.
