Warren Central swimmer Avery Greer won three events — the 200 and 500 yard freestyle, and 400 yard freestyle relay — at the season-opening Fun in the Sun Meet Aug. 24 at City Pool.

Greer had times of 2:20.53 in the 200 freestyle and 6:27.88 in the 500. She teamed with Kara Rowe, Ella Opperman and Addison Billings to win the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:26.96.

The same group finished second in the 200 yard medley relay.
