Fannie ‘Bea’ Conner

Fannie “Bea” Conner, a Vicksburg resident, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 30, surrounded by family. She was 84. She worked for Anderson Tully Lumber Co. and attended Bright Morning Star M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laymon Wells and Beatrice Chatman, and her daughter, Kristie Connor Diltz.

She has left to cherish her memories her husband, Walter Hebron of Vicksburg; her two sons, Ronald Lewis Conner of Memphis and Donald James Conner of Vicksburg; her four daughters, Angela Wade of Bossier City, La., Gwendolyn Williams and Jacqueline Conner, both of Vicksburg, and Jocelyn Humes of Clinton, Miss.; her sister, Jean Studdard of Pensacola, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life is to be held Saturday, September 7, in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Hebron officiating. Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation held Friday, September 6, in the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.
