With deep sorrow, family and friends mourn the passing of Walker Stout Biedenharn Sunday, September 1.

Walker was 33 years old and was enjoying his career as a skilled pipefitter in the South Louisiana refineries. Those that knew him describe him as a humble, kind, loyal and righteous person with a contagious since of humor. But above all, Walker was a warrior for Christ and touched lives daily with his testimony and concern for others. He truly lived by his favorite Bible verse, “For we live by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Walker attended St. Aloysius High School in his hometown of Vicksburg, and later met the love of his life, Cheyenne Miller, and looked forward to a life with her and her two precious children, Presley and Remy. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Dillon (Bill); father, F. M. “Easy” Biedenharn (Mary John); brother, Ford Biedenharn (Kayla, Grayson and Olivia); and fiancé, Cheyenne Miller; as well as by numerous step-siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Walker loved his family unconditionally and he cherished his friends beyond words. To know him was to love him. He will truly be missed in the days ahead, but will be remembered as a Godly man who will watch over us from above.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the funeral service at noon at Glenwood Funeral Home, Vicksburg, MS. A graveside service and reception will follow at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Bovina, MS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy House Adult & Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 266, Georgetown, MS 39078.
