Around 5:04 p.m. Friday, the Vicksburg Fire Department received a call regarding a truck colliding with a bicycle at the intersection of Washington St. and Johnson St. Upon reaching the scene, emergency crews found a 32-year-old male lying in the street, suffering from a severe head injury. The victim appeared to have been struck by the vehicle and was transported by ambulance to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for urgent medical attention.
