Two teenagers were taken into custody last week following a home burglary attempt that was interrupted by the resident.
Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said deputies responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Ring Road Sept. 15 at approximately 3 p.m. in response to a call of suspicious activity in a home.
Pace said the home’s resident reported that he arrived home to find two men inside and armed with one his firearms. The resident reported the men dropped the weapon and fled. Pace said Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies had both men in custody within an hour of the report.
Arrested were 18-year-old Ethan Paul Felder, of Clinton, and a 16-year-old juvenile, of Warren County. The juvenile was detained in the Warren County Youth Detention Center. Felder was booked into the Warren County Jail on a $30,000 bond set by Warren County Justice Court Judge Randy Lewis; however, Pace said Felder is not eligible for bond due to outstanding warrants in Clinton for unrelated charges of burglary and auto theft.
