Mrs. Mattie Ruth Sims passed away on August 25, 2024 in Gary, Indiana. She was 81.

Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 with Dr. General A. Bryant, Jr. officiating. Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
