U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Todd Gee speaks at Vicksburg Rotary Club

Donna Ingram presented Todd W. Gee, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District, at the Rotary Club of Vicksburg meeting held at the Vicksburg Country Club on September 19. Gee is the son of Anne Bullard Gee and the late Lt. Col. Robert William Gee. Pictured are Past-President Ingram, Gee and President-Elect Lane Campbell.
Gee was confirmed as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi on September 29, 2023. As United States Attorney, Mr. Gee supervises the investigation and prosecution of all federal crimes and the litigation of all civil matters in which the United States has an interest.
Gee has worked for the U.S. Department of Justice since 2007, including serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and a Deputy Chief of the Public Integrity Section of the Department’s Criminal Division. He has tried a variety of cases before juries with charges ranging from homicide to bank fraud and obstruction of justice.
Before joining the Department of Justice, Gee was the Chief Counsel of the Homeland Security Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Janice M. Stewart of the District of Oregon, and was a legislative assistant for a member of Congress. He has also taught a course on public corruption law at George Washington University Law School.
Gee is a graduate of George Washington University and Tulane Law School. He was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
