3 arrests made in June drive-by shooting on Washington Street

Three Vicksburg men were arrested Thursday on charges stemming from a drive-by shooting that injured one person in June.

According to information from the Vicksburg Police Department (VPD), 49-year-old Andre Johnson, 46-year-old Jermaine Tremone Johnson and 22-year-old Calbert Cordell Cosby were taken into custody in connection with the June 7 shooting that took place in the 4100 block of Washington Street.

All three men appeared in front of Judge Angela Carpenter Thursday in Vicksburg Municipal Court.

Andre Johnson was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault with a firearm. His bond was set at $225,000.

Jermaine Tremone Johnson was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $225,000.

Cosby was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $250,000.

All three men were bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
