Betty Jean Houston Smith, age 72, transitioned on September 24, 2024.

In remembrance of her life, a visitation will be held on October 8 from 1 to 6 p.m. at C.J. Williams Mortuary Center, 1625 Monroe St. The family will be in attendance from 5 to 6 p.m.

The funeral service will follow on October 9 starting at noon and concluding at 1 p.m. at the same location.
