McKinley “June” Cox Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 1.

In remembrance of his life, a visitation will be held at C.J. Williams Mortuary Center, 1625 Monroe St., Friday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 6 p.m. The family will be in attendance from 4 to 6 p.m. to share memories and celebrate the legacy he left behind.

The funeral service will occur the following day, Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Ardis T. Williams City Auditorium, 901 Monroe St., commencing at 3 p.m.
