It was a long way back from second to third place in the 36th annual Over the River Run. The distance from first to second was a lot closer.

Isaac Childs won the overall championship in the 5-mile run, and Ron Roma in the 5-mile race walk, by only 10 seconds Saturday in the annual jaunt across the Old Mississippi River Bridge and back.

The 30-year-old Childs had a winning time of 29:38 in the run, to get past runner-up Ryan Crandall who came across in 29:48.
