Notice on Ballot Order and Wording of Ballot
The order of the sample ballot was set by the State Board of Election Commissioners in accordance with Miss. Code Ann. Section 23-15-367, which provides nominees of political parties shall be listed first and organized alphabetically by candidate last name. After political party nominees, independent candidates are listed alphabetically by candidate last name. Furthermore, the wording of “Presidential Electors for” appearing before
each candidate for President of the United States and Vice-President of the United States is required by Miss. Code Ann. Section 23-15-785.
