Funeral services for Lizzie Mae Lewis are to be held Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Gospel Temple M.B. Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Edley officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 25, in the chapel from 5 to 6 p.m.

Lizzie Mae Lewis passed away Monday Oct. 14, in the Bluffs Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. She was 88. She was a homemaker and member of Gospel Temple M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Steele; mother, Ida Libbett; her brother, Willie E. Steele; and sisters, Freddie Mae Grant and Willie Mae Walker.

She is survived by her three daughters, Ledora Saints, Doris Lewis and Jacqueline Lewis, all of Vicksburg; her eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Terrance Saint of Ktown, Germany.
