Vicksburg Fire Chief Derrick Stamps said Friday afternoon that the Vicksburg Fire Department is actively working to extinguish a grass fire at the end of Wabash Avenue.

“No structures are threatened,” Stamps said at 3:20 p.m. “The Vicksburg Fire Department is actively extinguishing a grass fire at the end of Wabash Avenue in the woodline.”
