A weekly recap of performances by college and pro football players from Vicksburg-area high schools:

• Southern University kicker Joshua Griffin (Warren Central) kicked two field goals, from 50 and 46 yards, in a 24-6 loss to Florida A&M.

• Nicholls defensive back Laurence Sullivan Jr. (Vicksburg High) had five tackles and one tackle for loss in a 24-19 win over McNeese.

• West Alabama defensive back Lamar Gray (Warren Central) had four total tackles in a 38-0 shutout of Chowan.

• South Alabama offensive lineman Reed Buys (Warren Central) started at guard and helped the Jaguars rush for 355 yards in a 46-17 blowout of Louisiana-Monroe.

• Bluefield University offensive lineman Jehari Riley (Vicksburg High) started at tackle and helped the Rams gain 496 total yards in a 51-42 loss to Pikeville College.

• Alabama State kicker Brandon Gilliam (Warren Central) made two field goals, from 35 and 33 yards, and was 3-for-3 on PATs in a 27-19 victory against Alabama A&M. Gilliam also had one touchback on six kickoffs.

• Hinds Community College defensive back Kearris Gilliam (Vicksburg High) had six total tackles, one interception and one pass break-up in a 34-27 overtime win against Pearl River.

• Hinds offensive lineman Jerald Woods (Warren Central) started and helped the Eagles rush for a season-high 320 yards.

• East Mississippi Community College offensive lineman Shar’dez Taylor (Vicksburg High) started at tackle as the Lions totaled 516 yards in a 49-0 rout of Mississippi Delta.

• Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College running back Trey Hall (Warren Central) rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns — from 4, 10 and 3 yards — in a 63-0 win over Coahoma Community College. Hall also caught one pass for 10 yards.

• Gulf Coast wide receiver Tyler Henderson (Vicksburg High) caught five passes for 50 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown, against Coahoma.

• Gulf Coast wide receiver Zack Evans (Warren Central) caught two passes for 27 yards, and had two punt returns for a total of eight yards, in the win over Coahoma.

• Coahoma linebacker Logan Myles (Warren Central) had three total tackles in the loss to Gulf Coast.

• East Central Community College defensive lineman Demarcus Jones (Warren Central) had two total tackles in a 31-14 win over Copiah-Lincoln.

• Co-Lin linebacker Rakeem Davis (Port Gibson) had two tackles, including one-half tackle for loss, against East Central.

• Northwest Mississippi Community College quarterback Jack Wright (Warren Central) played on speclai teams in a 37-25 victory over Holmes.

• Edmonton Elks linebacker Nick Anderson (Vicksburg High) had 10 tackles in a 31-30 victory over the Toronto Argonauts. Anderson finished the season as the Canadian Football League’s leader in total tackles, with 116.

• New England Patriots offensive lineman Ben Brown (St. Aloysius) started at center in a 25-22 win over the New York Jets.
