Vicksburg Chief of Police Penny Jones said it is believed the gunfire began following an argument at the service station, resulting in both men opening fire. Jones said no one was injured during the incident; however, one vehicle and two buildings were struck by gunfire.

VPD said Darden should be considered armed and dangerous and that anyone with any information as to his whereabouts is asked to call VPD Investigator Lionel Johnson at 601-636-2511 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-8477.
