The Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) has arrested three suspects wanted in connection with an alleged attack against a seemingly defenseless woman that was livestreamed on Facebook over the weekend at a Vicksburg apartment complex.
Taken into custody and each charged with aggravated assault were 24-year-old Ronjanae Sandoria Hill, 27-year-old Charles Lee Doss III and 33-year-old Marcus Cortez Ross.
The video, which does not show the circumstances that led up to the incident, appears to show all three suspects – though faces are not clearly shown – attacking a single female on the ground before the suspect believed to be Hill proceeds to drag the victim a number of feet before throwing her down a flight of stairs outside the Fredella Village Apartments.
All three suspects made their initial appearances in Vicksburg Municipal Court Tuesday in front of Judge Angela Carpenter.
Hill and Ross were each bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury on $75,000 bonds. Doss was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $100,000 bond.
Sunday night, Vicksburg Chief of Police Penny Jones said the victim had received medical treatment and was in stable condition.
