State Sen. Jenifer Branning and incumbent Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Jim Kitchens will compete in a runoff election on Nov. 26 after no candidate received a majority of votes in the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election for a seat on the state’s highest court.

Absentee voting began Saturday, Nov. 16, and ends Saturday, Nov. 23. Circuit Clerk offices are open from 8 a.m. until noon both Saturdays and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays Nov. 18-22.
