Kemp-Lowe engagement announced

Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Kemp III of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Derivaux Kemp, to Tobias James Lowe, son of Dr. and Mrs. James Vandermark Lowe, of Saint Louis, Missouri.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Thomas Kemp Jr. and the late Mr. Kemp of Noxapater, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Allen Derivaux of Vicksburg.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Robert Edward Munson and the late Mr. Munson, of Cedarville, New Jersey, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Francis Lowe of Bethany, Connecticut.
Miss Kemp is an honor graduate of Saint Aloysius High School. She graduated from the Else School of Management at Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and economics, as well as a Master of Business Administration. She is a leader and active volunteer with the Jackson Symphony League, Junior League of Jackson, Kappa Delta Jackson Area Alumnae Association, Rotary Club of North Jackson, and Leadership Greater Jackson. She was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi in 2011. She is a commercial portfolio manager at Hancock Whitney Bank.
Mr. Lowe is an honor graduate of John Burroughs School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Russian area studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and a Master of Teaching Arts from Marylhurst University. He is a teacher at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School, where he serves as director of Explorer Camp at the Saint Andrew’s Summer Experience. He is a co-founder and co-host of the Inspire and Innovate Podcast.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Dec. 14, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, with a reception to follow at the Capital Club.
