The Old Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg will be open for a pedestrian stroll on Wednesday, November 27, the day before Thanksgiving.

This is one of only several times per year visitors can walk across the bridge which is usually only used for train traffic.

The bridge will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and visitors will have to sign a waiver at the entrance. Vendors will not be present.
