St. Al’s Jack Dickerson is The Post’s Athlete of the Week

Jack Dickerson left the competition jacked up in The Vicksburg Post’s Athlete of the Week contest.

The St. Aloysius soccer player received 4,180 of the 4,959 votes cast — a whopping 83 percent — in an online poll of The Post’s readers to earn the honor.

Warren Central football player Nash Morgan finished second with 360 votes. Vicksburg High basketball player Zion Harvey was third, with 297 votes, and Porter’s Chapel Academy basketball player Sophie Masterson was fourth with 228.

Dickerson scored four goals and assisted on three others in a pair of wins last week. He had three goals and two assists in an 8-0 win over Cathedral on Nov. 12, and one goal and one assist in an 8-0 win vs. ACCS on Nov. 15.

Dickerson also had a goal for the Flashes (3-1) in a 7-0 win over Cathedral in the season opener on Nov. 8.
