Four Lady Flashes record double-doubles in rout of Prairie View

St. Aloysius’ girls basketball snapped its losing streak Monday, and everybody got in on the fun.

Taryn Lusby scored 14 points, and four players had double-doubles as the Lady Flashes pounded Prairie View 71-23 to end their four-game skid.

Farrell Roberson finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Mallory Hobson flipped that stat line with 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the double-double parade.

Megan Theriot added 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals, while Annslee Averett had 12 points and 11 assists.

Elle Larson also had four points and 10 rebounds, and Olivia Larsen totaled four points and seven rebounds. Lusby had four rebounds and six steals to go with her 14 points.

St. Al (4-5) will play back-to-back road games Thursday and Friday, at Humphreys Academy and Tallulah Academy respectively. Junior high games begin at 4 p.m. and the varsity girls-boys doubleheader at 6.

St. Aloysius 73, Prairie View 60
Anthony McCloud had a big night for St. Aloysius’ boys team, with 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists to lead the Flashes (7-3) to a win over Prairie View.

Carson Gleese added 20 points and seven rebounds for St. Al, for his fourth 20-point game in a row.

Carter Henderson contributed 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists as well, and Sadler Lambiotte scored eight points.
Laken Bradley and Walt Andrews both had four rebounds and five assists.
