The winners of the 2024 Christmas Parade of Lights have been announced.

The parade, which took place Saturday in downtown Vicksburg, had a theme of “The Nutcracker.”

Winners include: Best in Business – All My Children Daycare; Best in Show  – Debra Franco School of Dance; Best Nonprofit – Junior Auxiliary of Vicksburg, MS; Best in Theme – The Old Depot Museum; Most Creative – Life Church; Most Enthusiastic – Unity in the Arts – I Can Fly Ministries; Most Original – Vicksburg Catholic School Band.

“We would like to give a huge thank you to all of our participants for all of the hard work they put into preparing for this year’s parade and all of the community who came out to support them,” event organizers said. “Thank you to Daryl Hollingsworth for driving our Grand Marshal Joyce Clingan, for leading the way, and to Vicksburg Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Vicksburg Mississippi for helping keep everyone safe. Thank you to the City of Vicksburg and all of the departments who pulled together to help get the barricades up and blocking off the parade route.”
