Nancy Ogle Badeaux

Mrs. Nancy Ogle Badeaux entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, Dec. 15. She was 84.

She was born Dec. 17, 1939 in Vicksburg and was a 1960 graduate of J.H. Culkin Academy. “Mrs. Nancy” loved Vicksburg and her community serving as a Girl Scout Leader, kindergarten teacher, and a member of the Old Courthouse Flea Market Committee. Nancy was a faithful servant of her Lord, serving as a Church Hostess, GA Leader, and four-year old Sunday School teacher.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Thomas Badeaux; her parents, Joe and Sue Ogle; a beloved sister, Betty Jo Jeffcott; and brother, Jerry Ogle.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy (Walt) Vinzant of Raymond, Mississippi and Donna Badeaux Warren of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren, Merribeth Shriver (Nicolas) Cummings, Olivia (Jacob) Rafal, John Thomas Vinzant, Caleb Shriver (Calah), Michael (Victoria) Shriver, and Mary Katherine (Joshua) Lucas; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daryl Ogle and Rodney Ogle; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Glenwood Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, with a service following at 2 p.m. A graveside service was held immediately afterward at Green Acres Memorial Park.
