Who’s Hot: Maddox Lynch

Warren Central football player Maddox Lynch caught a 33-yard touchdown pass in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game Dec. 14 in Mobile. The Alabama All-Stars beat Mississippi, 35-29.

On Monday, Lynch also announced he has committed to play college football at South Alabama.

Lynch, a senior wide receiver and tight end, set Warren Central’s career records for receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,385) during an outstanding senior season in 2024. He finished the year with 42 receptions for 459 yards and three touchdowns. Lynch was also Warren Central’s punter and averaged 31.4 yards per punt.

Lynch was named the Most Outstanding Tight End in MHSAA Region 2-6A and was selected to the Class 6A All-State team by the Mississippi Association of Coaches.
