Charles Walton Campbell

Dr. Charles Walton Campbell of Lexington, Mississippi passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Campbell had practiced in Lexington under the name Brumby and Campbell from 1962 until the present.

He is survived by his daughter, Christie Campbell Poer of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and his sons, Paul Campbell (Cindy) and Glenn Campbell (Virginia), both of Vicksburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Wynne Campbell (Chris), Hayden Poer, Brad Noble (Elizabeth), Carlton Campbell, Walton Poer (Lucy Jane) and Craig Noble (Heather), and great grandchildren, Campbell and Grayson.

He served as an elder in the Presbyterian church in Lexington for a number of years. Memorial services will be Monday, Dec. 30, from the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and services will be held at 11 a.m.

Mortimer-Southern Funeral Home, Lexington, is entrusted with the arrangements.
