Years of Service: BOMA recognized host of employees in December

A number of City of Vicksburg employees were acknowledged in December for their years of service to various departments, while the city also named its Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Blake Clifford, of the Building and Maintenance Department, was named Employee of the Quarter.

Employees recognized for years of service included: Jeremy Herrington, for one year of service to the Vicksburg Police Department; Charlie Hill III, for five years of service to the Vicksburg Fire Department; Victoria Payne and Christopher Shells, each for two years of service to the Vicksburg Police Department; Jami Blackledge, for three years of service to the Vicksburg Fire Department; Brendan Gardner, for three years of service to the Ambulance Department; Destiny Flowers, for three years of service to the Vicksburg Police Department; Angela Carpenter, for six years of service to the Court Services Department; Leroy Thomas, for seven years of service to the Inspection Department; and John Terry, for seven years of service to the Ambulance Department.
