Trey Hall has been all-state and all-region, and now he’s an All-American.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast running back and Vicksburg native was named a second-team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
It’s the latest in a long line of career accolades for the former Warren Central star. He was previously named to the All-NJCAA Region 23 team and was the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference South Division Player of the Year.
Hall ran for 1,098 yards in 10 games this season. He ranked third in the NJCAA with 109.8 yards per game. His 13 rushing touchdowns were second-most in the MACCC, and his 7.4 yards per carry tied Gulf Coast’s single-season record.
Hall, a sophomore, is listed among the top 10 junior college prospects in the country by ESPN but has not yet signed with a four-year school.
In two seasons at Gulf Coast, Hall has rushed for 1,981 yards and 20 touchdowns.
