Crawford Street United Methodist Church is currently working to collect warm clothing for those in need ahead of this week’s cold weather.

“We have neighbors that attend Men’s Breakfast or stop by the church occasionally for food that do not have a warm place to stay or sleep next week when it’s going to be extremely cold in Vicksburg,” church officials posted on social media. “Please help us live out service to others by donating cold weather clothing and gear that we will distribute early next week until it is all gone!”

Crawford Street UMC officials said boxes will be located in the church narthex, church office and the foyer of Wesley Hall.

“All sizes of new or gently used items are needed,” they said.
