Welcome home: Animals officially move into new city shelter

Dogs and cats alike settled into the new shelter this week.

After years of work from the City of Vicksburg and local volunteers, the new Vicksburg Animal Shelter located at 65 Cedars Road finally cut the ribbon on its new facility in December.
This week, animals made their arrivals at their new home.
Anyone interested in adopting from the shelter may call the new facility at 601-636-6892, or may visit online at Animalshelter@vicksburg.org.
