The Vicksburg Young Professionals kicked off its new year Wednesday with its first game night of 2025, as well as a tour of the Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library, which hosted the event.

“Our mission is to create a dynamic environment where both committee members and their peers can grow personally and professionally while making a meaningful impact on the community,” Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce officials said of its program. “The programs we design are crafted for our own development as much as for the benefit of fellow young professionals, empowering us all to lead Vicksburg forward.”

The Young Professionals group is made up of people between the ages of 20 and 40 who live and/or work in Warren County.

“We focus our efforts on three key areas that are essential to the development of young professionals, our community, and the overall success of Vicksburg: networking; leadership; development; and community service,” chamber officials said. “By developing, attending, and learning from these programs, the Vicksburg Young Professionals Planning Committee is committed to equipping ourselves and our peers with the skills, networks, and experiences needed to shape the future of Vicksburg and Warren County. Together, we are building a brighter tomorrow for our community.”
