HATTIESBURG — Southern Miss completed its 2025 football schedule on Tuesday by announcing a match-up with in-state opponent Jackson State.

The Golden Eagles and Tigers will play Sept. 6, at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg. The contest will give Southern Miss seven home games for first-year coach Charles Huff.

The meeting will be the fourth between the two schools. Southern Miss has won the previous three, including a 55-7 triumph in 2018.
