Kimbra Lynn Parson

Kimbra Lynn Parson of Vicksburg died Friday, March 7, 2014, at her home. She was 50.
Mrs. Parson was the fifth child to born the late Betty Marie Singleton of Jackson. She was reared with her five siblings in Edwards, and graduated from Raymond High School in 1981. She graduated from Hinds Community College and became a licensed practical nurse. She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witnesses on Oct. 21, 1978, and served as a full time minister.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Parson, and a daughter, Rachel Parson, both of Vicksburg; a stepson, Fredrick Parson of Vicksburg; two  sisters, Shelia Benson and Lisa McLaurin, both of Edwards; three brothers, Ronald Bell of Bolton, Michael Bell of High Point, N.C., and Steven Bell of Jackson; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at  Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witness. A repast will follow immediately after at Beechwood Elementary School.
