Electronics and a purse stolen in burglaries

A purse and electronics were missing this morning following two auto burglaries Friday in Vicksburg.
At 11:45 a.m. Friday, a purse containing a cellphone and cash were reported missing from an unlocked 2007 Nissan Altima in the 1600 block of Monroe Street, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
At 11:20 p.m., an amplifier valued at $150 and a set of speakers valued at $250 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Eastover Drive, she said.
Entry was forced into the vehicle, Williams said.
