A man was killed and three other people were injured in a two-car collision Saturday night on U.S 80 about 500 feet west of the Mount Alban Road intersection, Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Trooper 1st Class Eric Henry said.

Henry said Willie McCoy III, 25, 2001 Grove St., was killed when the 1999 Toyota Avalon he was driving collided with a 2012 Chrysler 200 driven by Rainee Roark, 18, of Von Ormy, Texas. Deputy Warren County Coroner Kelda Bailess said McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene from severe head and chest trauma. No autopsy was ordered, but blood was taken from McCoy for tests.

Roark was taken to River Region Medical Center.  Danny Stevenson, 26, and Rico Stevenson, 27, who were passengers in the car driven by McCoy, were taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Rico Stevenson was in serious condition, a hospital spokesman said. Information on the conditions of Danny Stevenson or Roark was unavailable.

The accident occurred about 11:16 p.m. when the eastbound Toyota Avalon driven by McCoy crossed the centerline of the highway and collided with the Chrysler driven by Roark. McCoy and Rico Stevenson had to be cut out of the Toyota with the Jaws of Life. Roarke also had to be cut out of her car.

Roark was wearing her seat belt. None of the people in the Toyota were wearing seat belts, according to the accident report.
