HELEN EDMONDSON

PEARL Helen Edmondson died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 73.

A native of Manhattan, N.Y., Mrs. Edmondson had been a resident of Pearl since 1953. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dewitt Edmondson.

She is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Davenport and Linda Joyce Johnson, both of Vicksburg, Shirley Ann Magee of Gautier, and Jo Ann Oliver of Long Beach, Miss.; four sons, Johnny Edmondson and Dewitt Edmondson, both of Pearl, Kenny W. Edmondson of Richland and Jerry Lee Edmondson of Florence; a sister, Wanda Petrozola of Long Island, N.Y.; a brother, Bernard Radomski of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Pearl.

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 Tuesday night at the funeral home with Rosary at 7:30.

NORVEL REYNOLDS SR.

FAYETTE Norvel Reynolds Sr. died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, La. He was 84.

Born in Jefferson County, Mr. Reynolds was a retired laborer of Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant. He was a member of Bell Hill and St. Paul United Methodist churches.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Reynolds and Arlue Washington Reynolds; three sons, Eddie Bradley, Robert Bradley and Walter Reynolds; two brothers, James Wesley and Esco Reynolds; and a sister, Macadonia Elzy.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Lee Guice Reynolds of Fayette; six sons, Henry Reynolds, David Reynolds, Norvel Davis and Melvin Reynolds, all of Fayette, Norvel Reynolds Jr. of Baton Rouge, and Lafayette Horton of Natchez; five daughters, Elsie Reynolds, Debra Reynolds and Faye Sampson, all of Fayette, Vivian Copridge of Columbus, Ga., and Linda Norwood of Crystal Springs; a brother, G.W. Runnels; two sisters, Odessa Horton of Fayette and Essie Mae Horton of Baton Rouge; 30 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and others including Frances Whitten of Port Gibson, Helen Green Reynolds of Fayette and Heidi Bradley of San Antonio.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette with the Rev. F.L. Pendleton officiating. Burial will follow at Old 16 Cemetery in Roxie.

Visitation will be from noon until 6 Tuesday at the funeral home.

DAVID SADBERRY JR.

David Sadberry Jr. died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 76.

Mr. Sadberry was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from Vertac Chemical Company and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David C. Sadberry Jr. and Pazetta Sadberry; a brother; and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Lee Sadberry of Vicksburg; seven daughters, Mary Patrick, Patricia Sadberry, Pazzetta Sadberry and Erie Sadberry, all of Petersburg, Va., Belinda Sadberry and LaShawn Sadberry, both of California, and Ruby Sadberry of Vicksburg; four sons, David Sadberry of Chicago, Calvin Louis Sadberry of California and Kenneth Sadberry and Harry Sadberry, both of Redwood; two sisters, Aquilla Hurd of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary Johnson of Memphis; an uncle, Louis Williams of Redwood; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives including Earl May Jeffery of the Ballground community.
