Vicksburg Police Sgt. Robert Jackson directs traffic on Sky Farm Avenue Wednesday after a head-on collision that sent a man to the hospital. Minor was traveling east on Sky Farm around 2 p.m. when his car collided with a 1988 Volvo driven by Norval Beacham, 62, 123 Sky Line Drive. Beacham’s car slid into the eastbound lane as rounded a curve, Jackson said. Minor was treated at ParkView Regional Medical Center and released, a hospital spokesman said. Beacham was not injured.
