JUSTINE PRISOCK EMANUEL

PORT GIBSON Justine Prisock Emanuel died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson. She was 74.

Mrs. Emanuel was a native of Claiborne County and lived most of her life in Port Gibson before moving to Rodney.

She was retired from BellSouth Telephone Company and was a member of Port Gibson Baptist Church

Mrs. Emanuel was also a member of the Obedient Servants Sunday School Class and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Mrs. Emanuel was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett C. Emanuel; and her parents, Carrie Brown and Barney Elliot Prisock.

Mrs. Emanuel is survived by a brother, Howard Brown Prisock of Port Gibson; a cousin, Peggie Marx of Port Gibson; and several other relatives.

Services were at noon Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with the Revs. David Easley and Charles Terrell officiating. Burial followed at Wintergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clovis Reed, Allen Brown, Kenny Dawson, Kenneth Harrell, Lee Embry and Jimmy Middleton.

Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Embry, Henry Marx and Dr. Mark Stanley.

DERRICK DONTAE HAGAN

Derrick Dontae Hagan, the 1-month-old son of Bobby Earl and Carrie Mae Brown Hagan, died Friday, June 8, 2001, at University Medical Center.

Derrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Berry Brown; his paternal grandparents, Rosie Lee and Daniel Hagan; and a brother, Eric Hagan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Bobby Earl Hagan Jr. of Vicksburg; his maternal grandmother, Ada Brown of Vicksburg; and numerous other relatives.

Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

DAISY MAE RINGO

Daisy Mae Ringo died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 53.

Mrs. Ringo was a homemaker and a member of Providence M.B. Church where she was also a member of the Mother Board.

Mrs. Ringo was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Miller and Gladys Henderson Robers; a brother, Jack Miller; three sisters, Evelyn Pettis, Marcella Wade and Gladys Henderson.

Mrs. Ringo is survived by her husband, Henry Ringo Sr. of Vicksburg; a son, Henry Ringo III of Jackson; a brother, Benny Miller of Portland, Ore.; Theresa Washington; two grandsons; and other relatives.
