Kim Smith, at right in the lower photo, talks with a neighbor after her home at 1508 Rosedown St. caught fire at about 6 Tuesday evening. Smith and her three children were at home at the time of the blaze, but no injuries were reported. In the top photo, firefighters set up a fan to clear smoke from the house. Vicksburg Fire Department Lt. Rose Shaifer said the fire, which destroyed the contents of the brick home, started in the bedroom. The cause of the fire has not been determined, Shaifer said.
