BRAD INGRAM
Brad Ingram died Saturday, April 21, 2001, at the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 24.
Mr. Ingram was a native of Vicksburg and lived a number of years in Kermit, Texas. He moved to Odessa in 1999. He was an instrumentation technician at Duke Energy Company of Odessa. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Odessa where he played lead guitar and sang with “The Carpenter Shop” praise band. He was a certified instructor and counselor with Oasis Life Skills Center.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas C. Ingram Sr. and Ellen Conrad Ingram of Moss Point; two brothers, T.C. Ingram Jr. of Vicksburg and Andy Ingram of Glendale, Ariz.; two sisters, Amy Ingram and Alex Ingram, both of Moss Point; and his maternal grandmother, Margaret Conrad of Raymond.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Pentecostal Church in Vicksburg with the Revs. Donald W. Tipton and G.R. Travis officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Kirk Conrad, Trey Smith, Lawrence Light, Tim Perry, Devin Tipton and Jamie Parker.
CHARLES W. MILLER
Charles W. Miller died Monday, April 23, 2001, at The Retirement Center in Baton Rouge. He was 72.
Mr. Miller was born in Weir and lived in Vicksburg for a number of years. He was employed with A&P Company for a number of years in Baton Rouge, Natchez and Jackson where he retired as a superintendent. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by a son, Charles D. Miller of Harrisville; two daughters, Charlotte Anne Pearson of Walker, La., and Loretta Jean King of Florence; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with Richard Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Steen, Glen Steen, Jimmy Neighbors, Eddie Neighbors, Tommy Smith and Doyle Dykes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Pearson, Joe King, Alex Lenoir, Justin Miller, Jimmy Beach and Michael Wesley Pears.
LOTTIE LEE ROBERTSON
Lottie Lee Robertson died Monday, April 23, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 94.
Mrs. Robertson was a native of Vicksburg. She worked at The Valley Dry Goods Company until she moved to San Francisco. She retired in 1974 from Macy’s of San Francisco. She moved back to Vicksburg in 1977. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Carr Central band parents club, the PTA and First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sam Robertson Sr.; a granddaughter, Wendy Lee Reed; a great-grandson, Daniel Joseph White; two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by a son, William Sam Robertson Jr. of Summerall; two daughters, Marjorie Millett and Jo Ann Reed, both of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Craig Millett, Steve Millett, Bradley Millett, Sam Robertson III, Brian White and Justin Ferris.
JAMES C. WEEKLY
James C. “Jimmy” Weekly died Monday, April 23, 2001, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 50.
Mr. Weekly was a native of Meridian. He was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi. He was employed with Entergy as an engineer associate. He was a member of Bovina United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Weekly of Vicksburg; a son, Chad Weekly of Vicksburg; two daughters, Shann Martin and Stacy Thurman, both of Vicksburg; and his mother, Helen B. Weekly of Meridian.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynette Little officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Alexander, John George, Jesse McCoy, Ty McCain, Bobby McCain and Marty McCain.
