Lifeguard Tonya Taylor helps Marquise Holmes, 7, son of Muriel Holmes, learn to float during a swim lesson Monday morning. Marquise’s grandmother, Deborah Potts of Vicksburg, took him to his first swim class. The classes will be every weekday for two weeks.
