GRADY ANDERSON
Grady Anderson died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at the University Medical Center. He was 84.
Mr. Anderson was a resident of Port Gibson.
He worked for Waterways Experiment Station for 30 years. He was a member and deacon of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Bessie Mae Anderson of Port Gibson; three sons, Tommie Anderson of Red Lick, James E. Anderson of Austinburg, Ohio, and Wayne Anderson of Port Gibson; three daughters, Gloria Faye Green of Red Lick, Jewel Scarber of Vicksburg and Brenda Young of Port Gibson; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Parman and grandsons.
MARGARET ANN LILJA
GEORGETOWN, Texas Margaret Ann Lilja died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, in Georgetown. She was 74.
Mrs. Lilja was a former resident of Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Margaret Caldwell; and a grandson, Curtis Winter.
Survivors include her husband Stan Lilja of Georgetown; three daughters, Karen Stiles of Dallas, Texas, Janet Woods of Georgetown and Peggy Cameron of Katy, Texas six grandchildren; and other relatives.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Georgetown, with Dr. Jim Haskell officiating. A private burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at Gabriels Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Covey, Tom Jones, Bob Pinder, Buford Powell, Joe Rodgers, Warren Thompson and Tom Hudgins.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Georgetown, Texas.
