ROBERT E. JAMISON

MEMPHIS Robert E. Jamison died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Allen Morgan Health Center in Memphis. He was 78.

A former resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Jamison served in the Army during the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge and the Korean War. He worked for the Federal Government for 20 years before retiring and was a member of Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church while in Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, T.A. Jamison Sr. and Jessie Jamison; two brothers, T.A. Jamison Jr. and Bee Jamison; and two sisters, Opal Setaro and Ruth Weikle.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Jamison of Memphis; three nephews, Robert C. Lea and Charles Lea, both of Monticello, Miss., and Wayne Jamison of Vicksburg; and seven nieces, Patsy Brown, Linda Richardson, Barbara Sager, Diana Brooks, Melva Delaughter, Betty Jo Blackman and Joyce Woods.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

DORIS LINDER PULLIN

OAK GROVE Doris Linder Pullin died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove. She was 84.

Mrs. Pullin lived in Oak Grove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pullin; and her parents, Walter Emmett Linder and Carrie Bell Linder.

Survivors include two daughters, LaWanda Huffty of Odessa, Texas, and Pat Shue of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Jean Holt and Fern Trahin; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Oak Grove with the Revs. Mike Howard and Charles Pullin officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Huffty, Darren Huffty, Cody Huffty, Randy Norton, Craig Shue and Jeffery Holt.
