ANGEL LYNN BOST

Angel Lynn Bost, the infant child of Walden Bost and Jennifer Lee, died Friday, June 21, 2002, at River Region Medical Center.

She is survived by her father, Walden Bost; her mother, Jennifer Lee; a brother, Dewayne Lee; a sister, Brittany Bost; paternal grandparents, Bill and Diane Bost of Vicksburg; and maternal grandparents, Larry and Wanda Vines of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

LARRY BUSH

Larry D. Bush died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 43.

Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Williams Bush, and maternal grandmother, Viola Williams.

He is survived by two brothers, Gary Bush of Smyrna, Ga., and Johnny L. Bush of Temple, Texas; a sister, Bettye Bush Platt of Virginia Beach, Va., and other relatives.

Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery following a private service under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

JOHNNY COOK

Services for Johnny “Billy” Cook will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Spring Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Robbins Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be all day Monday at Robbins Funeral Home followed by a wake from 6 until 7 p.m. and at the church from noon Tuesday until the service.

Mr. Cook died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his home. He was 43.

A gunsmith, he was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mizella Cook.

He is survived by two sons, Raymond L. Brown of Chesapeake, Va., and Jerel P. Cook of Vicksburg; his daughter, Shiela D. Henderson of Vicksburg; his mother, Ella Mitchell Cook; two sisters, Helen Wright and Betty Mace, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Walker Wright of Olive Branch and Willie Cook of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and other relatives.

SHEILA ARLEEN MOSELEY

OAK GROVE Sheila Arleen Moseley died Friday, June 21, 2002, at Carroll Nursing Home. She was 49.

Mrs. Moseley was preceded in death by her father, James Elmer Stampley Sr.; grandfathers, John Wesley Stampley and Jess Owen Slaughter; grandmothers, Hattie Louise Ragland Stampley and Rosa Anna Mae Cogvill Slaughter, and a sister, Evelyn Merleen Breeden.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Robert Moseley II of Oak Grove; three sons, Thomas Robert Moseley III of Fort Campbell, Ky., David Edward Moseley of Lake Providence and John Avery Moseley of Ruston, La.; two granddaughters, Lauren Jasmine Moseley and Samantha Abigail Moseley; her mother, Merle Josephine Stampley of Lake Providence; and two brothers, James E. “Jimmy” Stampley Jr., of Dallas, Texas, and Ronnie Owen Stampley of Tallulah; and other relatives.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lakeside Assembly of God with the Rev. Bruce Lowery officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the church until the service.

Pallbearers will be Tim Breed, Mike Creech, Bubba Issac, Jerry Sullivan, Randy Capers and Alton West.

HELEN M. PILATE

Helen M. Pilate died Friday, June 21, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Mrs. Pilate was a member of Greater Mount Lebanon Baptist Church and the Honeysuckle Homemakers Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pilate; a brother, William “Rashad” Marshall, and two sisters, Jewel Marshall and Barbara Wince.

She is survived by two sons, Roderick J. Pilate of Vicksburg and Darryl T. Pilate of Chicago; two daughters, Johnne H. Pilate of Jackson and Tammye P. Christmas of Vicksburg; a sister, Marilyn Patterson of Vicksburg; six grandchildren and other relatives.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
